2009 Songahm Taekwondo Awards
The awards took place during our Christmas Party which was held in St Josephs Sports Hall, Kilmarnock. All the kids had a fantastic time on the Disco Bounce and Bouncy Castle, and a few of the adults had a fun time too! The day was such a success that we hope to do the same again this year.

Annual Camp this year took place in Kirkcaldy 8 – 15 August 2009

Thanks to the St John’s Taekwondo Scotland Club,  especially Miss Frail  and her staff for putting on a great camp, and tor Senior Master Abiar and Mr Miller for their tremendous contribution throughout the week.
We as a club, had a very successful week, which kicked off with Miss Kirsty McCulloch and Mr Michael Bennett passing their Level 1 and Mr John Mcculloch passing Level 2, Trainee Instructors exams. We also did extremely well at the competition day on the Saturday, with Joseph Meney  and Campbell Mitchell achieving Firsts in their groups. We received a number of seconds and thirds including James McClung, who  achieved two Thirds for Sparring and Form.  A full list of results to follow shortly.
The event closed with a Ceilidh at St John’s Church, thanks to the Highland Dancers, the Entertainment and the Caterers.

We are all looking to next year’s Camp in Portugal  7-14 August 2010, information from Instructors.
